What is this?
The VRC Coaches Hub is a free coaching resource library for all coaches and volunteers at the Voorburgse Rugby Club (Den Haag, Netherlands). It provides age-appropriate training drills, session plans, and coaching guidelines for every youth age group — from the youngest Guppen (U6) to the Colts (U18).
All content is based on publicly available resources from three leading rugby coaching frameworks: the FFR (Fédération Française de Rugby), World Rugby, and the RFU (Rugby Football Union, England). These organisations publish detailed, evidence-based coaching materials that are freely accessible online.
Age Group Structure
VRC follows the age-group classification of Rugby Nederland, with 2-year bands:
